IRELAND, A SMALL BUT GREAT COUNTRY.

Ireland is an island which is a very traditional and beautiful place. Its people are friendly and have a great sense of humour, making them very warm people, always enjoying and lauphing.
Its capital, Dublin, is a city/town that has improved a lot since many years ago, and it´s a wonderful place to visit. If you'd like to travel to Ireland, you can't miss Dublin.
In the following days, we are going to celebrate St.Patrck's day, the most important festivity in Ireland. To celebrate it, Irish people go together at a party or parade. Everybody has to wear something green, the colour of Ireland. This festivity is in honour of St.Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, who introduced Christianity to its people. In Dublin, for example, they die the river Liffey green, but many important buildings, monuments, and rivers in the world turn green too, such as the Empire State Building in New York, the Puerta de Alcalá in Madrid,or the Hudson river in the USA. Traditional Celtic music has always been very important in Ireland too. Especially on St.Patricks, when they organise music festivals in pubs or in the streets. I hope this information has been useful for discovering a bit of Irish culture.
